Benefits of Regular Grooming: A Spa Day!
Regular grooming helps maintain a healthy coat and skin; as dead skin is removed with scrubbing, blow drying, and brushing. Grooming allows air to circulate through the coat, removing excess hair as well. Brushing works to distribute the pet’s natural oils throughout the coat. Regular grooming gives you a chance to find any abnormalities, including fleas and ticks.
Grooming room
Regular grooming allows for prevention and limiting matted hair. Matted or pelted coats are nothing unusual at the start of warmer weather, it is advised by professional groomers that you do not wait until the end of winter to deal with it. Mats are often painful and irritating because it can pinch and pull the skin.
Did you know that frequent and regular grooming is beneficial for most pets who suffer from anxiety? Clients may feel reluctant to bring in their fur babies for grooming because they simply don’t enjoy being groomed or are afraid. A dog that’s groomed regularly sees it as a part of life, they become more relaxed and accepting.
